Police: Robbery suspect splashed store clerk in eyes and stole cash register in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – The Richmond Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying and locating the assault and robbery suspect.

According to police, at approximately 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, the man pictured entered a convenience store in the 6200 block of Jahnke Road, sprayed chemicals in the eyes of an employee and stole a cash register from the company.

The suspect then drove off in a black 2012-2014 BMW 7 Series. He is described as about 6 feet tall, wearing black pants, a black jacket, and a gray knit beanie.
