Man accused of shooting store clerk while dressed as a woman arrested

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG / WECP) – The suspect wanted for an armed robbery in September has been arrested, according to lawmakers.

In September, Bay County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Beeline gas station on Cherry Street after a report of an armed robbery. MPs say the suspect was a man wearing a robe, wig and face mask.

MPs say the man rushed into the store, asked the salesperson to give him money, and then shot the salesperson with the pistol he was carrying.

Thanks to the investigation, MPs say they were able to identify Kedrick McNeil as the suspect.

Investigators say they found McNeil at a location on Business 98. On Monday, McNeil was arrested with the help of the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force. He is accused of having resisted an officer without violence, of having driven a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and of robbery in connection with these cases.
