Local Store Marketing Manager – Axios Charlotte

Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar is a full-service restaurant serving wood-fired pizza and chicken wings, pasta, salad, small plates to share and more. Our full bar offers 24 craft beers on tap, specialty cocktails and a selection of wines. Insight:
Brixx is looking for a motivated individual to join the team as Local Store Marketing Manager, a new position within the company. This position is ideal for someone who likes to strategize and plan, but also likes to roll up their sleeves and get things done to bring those ideas to life. This role requires strong skills in driving foot traffic to stores, the ability to develop and achieve monthly sales goals and plans, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate is an articulate professional with excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated experience in positively and creatively influencing change and direction in professional environments.

We have recently completed work to enhance our brand to take Brixx to the next level, and this position is key to continuing to build local brand awareness and to help nurture the Brixx brand as we continue to grow.

This position reports to the Brixx Marketing Manager (dotted line to Brixx Regional Operations Managers) and requires frequent travel to Brixx locations in the Carolinas, Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee and Alabama.

Remote to Charlotte or Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities:
• Promote corporate brand standards and restaurant marketing philosophies across all 26 Brixx locations
• Work with local operations management, franchisees and partnership group to identify and capitalize on opportunities to effectively increase restaurant sales, improve customer engagement and elevate the Brixx brand
• Collaborate with operational and regional managers to assess the appropriate support approach, expectations, frequency and execution of touchpoints for each restaurant
• Train new operators on restaurant marketing processes and expectations
• Provide ongoing training on new/existing marketing initiatives and programs
• Work to ensure clear communication between marketing and field operators in the division to drive traffic and drive sales
• Develop and lead the execution of complex regional marketing plans including sales, customer base, ROI and brand loyalty objectives
• Build and maintain relationships with local sponsors and partners, negotiate contracts, implement assets and assess impact
• Work directly with the Marketing Director and the Brixx marketing team to develop marketing goals and campaigns
• Work closely with Business Development Managers to ensure local marketing dollars are invested to drive traffic and drive sales with a solid and measured ROI.

Terms:
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of restaurant, retail, hospitality or franchise marketing experience, which can be a combination of B2B and B2C internet/digital marketing, traditional and modern advertising
• Ability to travel frequently to multiple Brixx locations (NC, SC, VA, OH, TN, AL)
