Central Texas store worker arrested for allegedly instigating robbery, second suspect on the run

The Bosque County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a store worker for allegedly instigating a robbery and is looking for the second fugitive on the run.

According to Sheriff Hendricks, at around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, a man wearing a mask and a black hoodie entered the Lake Stop convenience store in Laguna Park. Hendricks said the suspect then approached the checkout counter and asked for the store’s “bank bag”.

Through the investigation, MPs determined that it was a planned theft carried out by a store employee and the suspect who committed the theft.

Maeso is currently a fugitive on the run, with a pending warrant, and is known to frequent Waco in the Laguna Park area, according to the sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information on Maeso’s whereabouts is asked to call (254) 435-2363. Callers can remain anonymous.
