Armed robbery at Centerville store, clerk assaulted, deputies say

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The search for three suspects wanted in an armed robbery at Circle C Market in Centerville is currently underway by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

On January 13, deputies say a woman, armed with a gun, and a man entered the store. The man ordered the clerk downstairs and hit her on the head. Another man then came in and stood watch as the money was taken from the cash register.

“The employee was slightly injured,” said Tony Botti of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. “I believe it was actually more on her knee when she fell, but it could have been very serious. You see his head fall about to hit the edge of the counter.
